not 8000 words

Summary of the past two weeks in pictures, because I have run out of words after too much emailing and being sociable.

the day before the Bone Marrow Donor Foundation Gala Dinner

The plus side to doing a gig at Mandarin is...

Got there early and beat the infamous queue, but by the time we left there was quite a long one.
Nice soup, super thin noodles. It works for those on a diet. It doesn't work if you have something to do after dinner that requires energy. Not even if you supplement that with Spinelli's iced chocolate.
For the easily hungry, check out Burger Bench at Cineleisure instead

Burger (around $8) + chips ($1)
If you are lucky enough, you get purple chips.
If burger and chips are insufficient...

(what a black hole your stomach is! You can audition to be my meal partner..)

 Dark Chocolate soft serve $3
how awesome is this.

And after all that unhealthy (but real) food, it's back to ichiban's sashimi salad post inch chua gig.

When I finally got the chance to spend more time at home, this was what happened...

Massive fire from the nearby industrial estate that took a few hours to clear.
Good sound drama with the fire engines police and ambulance.

And the last day of the week which also marks the beginning of the work week with the korean drama music concert coming up this weekend...

Aston's Wagyu Beef Burger $9.90
Looks totally non descript but it was surprisingly good.
This should keep me alive till next Wednesday.
